Another beautiful Sunday morning here in Mauritius. Life seems to be ebbing slow and calm lately, tiding us from one season into the other. Some things remain constant though... like Six Sentence Sunday.
I’m ready to sit down and browse some fine samples of writing from my fellow SSS posters – join me?
I’m taking you one final time to the Surrey mansion today... We’ve been with hunky doctor Jamie and uptight pathologist Margo for a good many weeks now, but it’s time I let them go on this space, because another couple is screaming for their spotlight moment. As from April, we move to my upcoming release, and Book 2 of the Corpus Brides romantic suspense/espionage series. Change of pace from Calling Home (A Destiny’s Child Book)...
But today, we’re still with Jamie and Margo. Remember, in the past 2 weeks, Jamie proposed a singular kind of arrangement, and Margo was blindsided... Has she figured out what he’s just asked? Maybe this week, we’ll find out...
"Think about it," he said, his voice low and husky, terrifyingly male.
"What?"
"Emma; I can look after her."
She frowned while she recapped their conversation so far. "You want to be her—" she paused before saying the word—"nanny."
Jamie and that notion didn't go together; an image of the dowdy Mrs. Doubtfire flitted into her mind, and Margo couldn't quell her reaction - she laughed.
Don’t forget to check out my fellow Sixers today – good stuff in the works. Siobhan Muir, Sarah Balance, Lorraine Paton, JM Blackman, Jessica E. Subject, Cate Masters, Liz Crowe, among many others!
From Mauritius with love,
Zee

Oh, Jamie is way sexier than Mrs. Doubtfire. Great six!
And can't wait to read more of the Corpus Brides series. :)
Sounds like quite an offer!
Fun 6! Love the comparison to Mrs. Doubtfire!
Haha! Definitely no Mrs. Doubtfire! fun six Zee. :)
at least she laughed...
Thoroughly fun six!
Hey, now, Mrs. Doubtfire was a guy, after all. A hairy, middle-aged, pauchy guys... Hmm, I can see the problem.
Nice 6. I love the description of his voice! Terrific job!
Somehow I don't think he's going to look like Mrs. Doubtfire, lol! Great six!
Thanks for the mention, Zee! You rock.
The heat between these two grows with every snippet you share. I can't believe one of them hasn't combusted yet. Calling him a nanny is pretty funny. Perhaps she would have taken it better had he suggested "caretaker." :) I hope she let's him in.
Quite frankly, I laughed too. Wonderful six! These two have been fun to read about.
What? You stopped it BEFORE his response? Ahhhhh! Fun six, Zee.
And thanks so much for the mention! :D
A sexy nanny! She might laugh now, but it sounds like a great deal to me!
And, thank you so much for the mention! :)
A sexy nanny who exhibits traits like Mrs. Doubtfire... I predict things are gonna get steamy in the kitchen over a plate of -- !
Wonderful snippet. Loved the line "terrifyingly male" and - hey, Mrs Doubtfire rocks! lol
Poor guy! I wonder how his ego's going to react to being laughed at. :-)
Great 6, Zee!!
Lol Jessica - he sure is!
And Corpus Brides start hitting SSS next week - I knew you'd be glad to hear that :) XOXO
It does, Lisa! Might lead to some, uhm, complications, but it sure is :)
Thanks Angela! :)
Definitely not, DeAnna! xoxo
That's right, Sue! He's breaking down her walls :)
Lol! Thanks Cara!
*grin* Monica! Guy as nanny = problems... :)
Thank you, Chantel!
Lol, that'd be about right, Jennifer! :)
Thanks JM! I loved this couple - it was so much fun to write them :) And yup, it's a slow burn towards combustion... XOXO
Lol Kate! Glad you liked these two, and I hope you'll like the upcoming couple to be featured as from next week :)
Haha, Siobhan - very wicked of me, I know *grin* You're most welcome for the mention! :) xoxo
It is a great deal, Lorraine, but one she's gonna regret... Reading the book will tell the reader the answer *wink*
Most welcome for the mention! :) xoxo
Lol Wildcat - things do get steamy, over hiccups and a pinch of sugar... *wicked grin*
Lol Gayle - Mrs Doubtfire was a great nanny, and here, she comes looking like sinful Jamie... Definitely a great deal! :)
