Check this book: Have You Seen Her by Chicki Brown

Hey people!

I am excited to bring to you today a story by my crit sister and an amazing lady and author, Chicki Brown.

Chicki has just had her first book released via Amazon Kindle. Have You Seen Her is a romance with elements of suspense. Check it out for yourselves:

Blurb:

If she’d stayed any longer, her husband would have killed her.

Frantic to escape his drug-induced brutality, socialite Marcia Hadley escapes Santa Barbara and flees to Atlantic City. She’s sold everything she owns, rents a seedy inner city apartment and attempts to disappear as Dani Reynolds, cocktail waitress at Frenzy, a neighborhood nightclub.

Taylor Villanova, the club’s sexy multi-racial bouncer recognizes her naiveté and volunteers to teach her about surviving in the “hood.” Fearful and suspicious of men, Dani is at first repelled by his violent profession yet drawn to the compassionate nature that contradicts Taylor’s macho persona. But when her well-laid plans go awry, and Dani discovers someone is following her, she must put her complete trust in Taylor. Her time is running out.

Here's the trailer:

This is an exciting moment for us because Chicki allowed her friends to be in the passenger seat right by her side throughout the whole journey that was putting this book package and submission together to get it up on Amazon Kindle. You can read all about it at her blog. Somewhere along the way, my dear friend asked for my help and with her feedback and search for pics, I put together this cover for her. So you'll understand why I'm even more excited!

Amazon Kindle - The next venue for authors? Seems like it. Chicki is the latest to join the wagons of Kindle authors.

Now another good thing about Kindle is the fact that you DON'T NEED an actual Kindle device to read the stories up for sale there. Nopes! You can download the FREE Kindle app for PC or phone and enjoy the books like any other standard ebook.

I've had the pleasure of reading bits and pieces of this story, and I'm waiting to be able to buy my own copy and view it on my PC. I can already tell you this one is worth the detour!

Do drive by and support Chicki! This is the direct link to the book.

From Mauritius with love,

Zee

Yesterday I also uploaded the book to Smashwords, so now it's available in all e-formats. Yay!
